But why baptize a domain "les robes noires"? It's quite simple and logical: when you are, like Sarah and Aymeric Discours - the happy owners of the aforementioned domain - former lawyers... Everything becomes clearer!
In 2021, they have chosen to leave "the robe and the Parisian life" to work in the vineyard in the Languedoc. Both grew up in or near French wine regions (Var, Jura, Burgundy, Alsace and Médoc) but also abroad (notably in South Africa), and as they have been passionate about wine and vine growing for a very long time... they took over and invested in this estate, in Alignan-du-Vent.
They produce wines stamped "organic agriculture", in appellation (IGP) Côtes de Thongue.
