Alice and the magic fountain
Discover the site of the 9 locks at Fonseranes as a family, in a fun and original way.
This treasure hunt is designed for children aged 7 and over. The aim is simple: explore the site and join Alice in Paul Riquet’s wonderland on the hunt for the magical fountain. To help you on your way, you’ll be given a kit containing an investigation booklet, treasure map, fishing rod, pencil and magnifying glass. Children who successfully complete their mission to find the magical fountain can wear Alice’s badge with pride.

Come and visit the 9 locks at Fonseranes from the historic centre of Béziers, or vice versa, and have a great time with the whole family!
In all cases, start and finish at the Tourist Office in the historic centre or at the Maison de Site in Fonséranes.
This treasure hunt is open to children aged 6 and over. In this adventure, discover part of the historic centre of Béziers (St Nazaire cathedral, the ‘voie douce’ and the Pont Vieux), and the site of the 9 locks at Fonseranes. To do this, help Alice find her father, who is stuck in time! To investigate, children will be given a kit containing: an investigation booklet, the star map, old postcards, a slide, a talisman and the iDad.
If they manage to save Alice’s father and close the time rift, the children can collect a lovely badge!
