Do you fancy a wander if the weather’s looking up? Take time out for an adventure around the squares and old lanes in Béziers!

place Jean Jaurès

No trip to Béziers town centre would be complete without a stop at Place Jean-Jaurès to see its beautiful fountains. There’s always something happening on the square, such as the musical show when the fountains light up in a rainbow of colours and dance in time to songs to suit the seasons and what’s on in the town!

La place de la Madeleine

Madeleine Church stands in the middle of the square, silently watching over the hustle and bustle. It hosts a sound and light show which sees the landmark tell audiences mysterious and exciting stories. The rest of the square is just as magical so it’s great for choosing one of its many restaurants to settle down for a meal and a spot of people watching!

place du forum

Time for a break? Have a coffee on Place du Forum and soak up the friendly atmosphere on this lovely little square! You’re just a stone’s throw from Béziers old town where you can turn back the clock and step into the shops or restaurants you see along the way.

place de la Canterelettes

This square has surprises galore… It’s ideal for families so bring the kids to let off steam and have fun in the age-appropriate play area! And there’s more… Turn around and drink in fabulous views of the Orb Valley. You can even spot the 9 Locks if you keep your eyes peeled!

Let’s not forget…

As you explore the town’s squares, soak up the magical old lanes, go with the flow and visit anything that takes your fancy! Shopaholics can pop into the cute little boutiques, foodies can tickle their tastebuds, there really is something for everyone!
