The 01 March 2024
Local animation, Exhibition
146 Avenue de la Plage, 34410 SERIGNAN
Naomi Maury, winner of the Prix Occitanie Médicis 2022, has conceived her exhibition as a large-scale immersive installation, immersed in darkness and sound. Large, slender metal sculptures, some of which produce halos of colored light - what she calls exoskeletons - welcome visitors. Naomi Maury transports us into a fictional future in which fragility, precarious balance and care between the living and the non-living are at the heart of her work. Her latest film, The meaning of light, on view in the exhibition, depicts the symbiosis sought between living species.
Opening Saturday October 14 at 6:30pm, with activation of the immersive Exoskeletlight environment at 7pm through gestures and words.
