Walking

The Fonseranes 9 Locks site is open all year 24/7, for free, from the Allées Paul Riquet or from the train the station and via Quai Port Neuf along the Canal’s banks.

Enjoy a nice walk form the city center via the bridges to the Canal du Midi, and finally to the 9 Locks ! Check our city map and choose your route via the Canal Bridge or Pont Vieux.

Cycling

You can ride to the site from downtown Béziers or from the train the station. If you go along the Canal du Midi banks you can reach the Fonseranes 9 Locks from Toulouse or Sète and close to Colombiers or Villeneuve-lès-Béziers.

From Valras-Plage or Sérignan-Plage, a one-hour trip will take you to the 9 Locks.

Driving :

You can drive directly to the 9 locks, the road will lead you to the parking lot located at the entrance of Béziers, on the Route de Narbonne, via the Bachaga Boualem roundabout then take Rue du Canal royal.
